Welcome to Unplugged - Screen Control ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how the Unplugged - Screen Control mobile application (the "App") handles your information.
Unplugged is built to be private by design. In short: the App does not require an account, does not collect your personal data, and keeps everything you do inside the App on your own device.
Privacy at a glance
The App does not offer or require account creation. You do not need to register, log in, or provide a name, email address, phone number, or any other identifying information to download or use Unplugged.
We do not collect any personal information or usage data. The App does not send your information to us or to any external server.
To provide its core features — blocking distracting apps, showing your screen time, and tracking focus streaks — the App works with information such as which apps you choose to block, your schedules and rules, focus session history, and screen‑time statistics. All of this information is:
Unplugged uses Apple's Screen Time framework (Family Controls, Managed Settings, and Device Activity) to monitor and block apps. This framework runs entirely on your device. Screen Time information is processed on‑device by iOS and is not made available to us. We cannot see which specific apps or websites you use, and we do not receive any of your Screen Time data.
Because your data never leaves your device, there are no servers or cloud accounts holding your personal information. Your data is protected by your device's built‑in security (such as your passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID) and by iOS.
You remain in full control of your data at all times. Deleting the App from your device removes its locally stored data.
We do not use analytics or tracking tools that collect your personal data, we do not build user profiles, and we do not show third‑party advertising or share data with advertisers. The App does not track you across other apps or websites.
We do not sell or share your data. Because we do not collect personal information, we have nothing to sell, rent, or trade — and we never will.
If the App offers any paid features, purchases and subscriptions are processed entirely by the Apple App Store, not by us. Apple handles all payment details in accordance with Apple's own privacy policy. We do not receive or store your payment information or any personal details associated with your Apple ID.
Unplugged requests only the permissions it needs to function. These permissions are used solely on your device to deliver the App's features:

You can change or revoke these permissions at any time in your device Settings. Doing so may limit some features of the App.
The App does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. Because no data is gathered or transmitted, no personal information from children under 13 is ever collected by us.
You are always in control. Since all data stays on your device, you can review or delete it from within the App, and you can remove all App data at any time by uninstalling the App. As we do not hold any of your personal information, there is nothing for us to access, export, or delete on your behalf.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes are effective when posted on this page.
